AP Tutoring for
Singapore Students

Individual sessions start at $80 USD for a 40-minute session — all prices are in US dollars. Packages of 3 to 20 sessions offer lower per-session rates, and monthly subscriptions spread weekly sessions across the school year. All packages include portal access and structured practice tools.

Only three Singapore international schools run Advanced Placement: Singapore American School (AP only), Stamford American International School (AP and IB), and XCL World Academy (IB and AP). Most other international schools here run the IB Diploma, IGCSE or A-Levels instead. We tutor AP students at all three.

AP exams are held over two weeks in May each year (early-to-mid May), on fixed dates set by the College Board. Your school's AP Coordinator orders exams, usually with an internal deadline in the autumn; the College Board's standard order deadline is mid-November, after which a late fee applies. We time each study plan to your subject's exam date.

AP exams are scored 1 to 5, with 5 the top mark. Many universities grant credit or advanced placement for scores of 3 or above. AP scores are accepted for admission by NUS, NTU and SMU and by universities in the US and worldwide; credit and advanced-standing policies vary by institution and department.

The most-requested AP subjects: Calculus AB and BC, the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Statistics, English Language and Literature, Micro and Macroeconomics, Computer Science, and French — plus AP Capstone (Seminar and Research). We also support SAT and US university admissions, which most AP families plan alongside their exams.

All sessions are online via video call with screen sharing and interactive whiteboards. This lets us match Singapore students with the best subject specialists globally, not just those available locally. Most SG students book evening sessions between 5 PM and 9 PM SGT.
